Interhunt Austria is a booking agency representing some of Austria’s finest hunting outfitters. Since 1965 we have arranged hunting trips in Austria for Red-deer, Chamois, Mouflon, Roebuck, Wild-boar. Capercaillie, Black-cock, Hazel-cock, Marmot and/or a wide variety of small game species.

Austria, with his old, traditional hunting grounds of the Austrian Emperors is one of Europe’s best hunting destinations. The country’s game department and private land owners have worked together for many years to ensure that all species are properly managed. This results in abundant game populations and top trophy quality.

The hunting grounds of Interhunt-Austria are located in the middle of Austria between Salzburg and Vienna, easy to rich from the airport of Vienna. The guests hunt in a hunting area from totally 14.000 ha and under the assistance our professional hunters, with all the necessary equipment. Jeeps, Blood-hounds, Gun for hire are available.

Interhunt Austria offers its guests the option of hunting from a comfortable, small hunting-castle in the traditional Austrian style, with a deluxe four-star-hotel standard, situated at one of the many panoramic view spots of the mountains.

In the near rivers and lakes is also trout-fishing / fly-fishing available.

After the day’s hunt you can relax and enjoy around the open fire place, a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzis, steam-bath will be available for a refreshing dip.

We recommend that you bring your own familiar rrifle with you and permits are issued hassle-free at the airport upon your arrival. But all needed guns are also available for hire. Your professional hunter will pick-up you on the airport, he will transport to your accommodation.

Any early each morning your professional hunter will pick up you for your hunt. You only pay for complete hunting days. All hunting is fair chase and done on foot inconjunction with a four-wheel drive hunting vehicle. Lunch can be taken either back at the lodge or picnic style in the field.

We can also assist you or your family in arranging some spectacular sight-seeing through Austria, to Vienna, to Salzburg or to Budapest and Prague. Hotel-stays in Vienna, visits of the Spanish Riding School or the Opera House  will make your Austria trip the unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
